🌟 Review for Teacher Cathy – Physics DSE Trial Lesson 🌟 Thank you, Teacher Cathy, for today’s trial lesson on DSE Physics. She used clear and structured PPT slides to first explain the theory and then actively interacted with me to check my understanding. In this lesson, we focused on the topic of Forces. She explained the different types of contact forces step by step with illustrated examples: * Friction – shown with a boy sliding down a slope. * Normal Force – explained with a slide example to show the perpendicular reaction of a surface. * Tension – demonstrated with ropes and pulling objects. She also guided me through how forces are vector quantities (with direction and size) and highlighted Newton’s Third Law using the sandbag punching example (force pairs). I found her explanation very clear and systematic, which reflects her strong teaching experience in Hong Kong. She is able to:
 ✅ Pre-teach a topic before school lessons
✅ Do revision and practice exercises
✅ Guide students on answering techniques for DSE exam-style questions
✅ Customize lessons according to the student’s learning needs I highly recommend Teacher Cathy to any student looking for an experienced and expert teacher in Physics and Maths (DSE, IB, or GCSE).

I appreciate Jose's hardwork to go through the white board illustration and explain how to work on the analysis. However, the lecture went to 2D projectile motion directly without 1D constant acceleration motion and free fall motion. I guess it's better to build up the basic concepts and highlight the key formula.

In physics, gravitation is the force that pulls two masses toward each other. Believe it or not, every single particle of matter in the universe exerts gravitation on every other particle. The terms gravitation and gravity are often used interchangeably for the attraction between everything with energy or mass.

What is the difference between an ionic compound and a molecule? ionic compound: ionic compounds are made by positively and negatively charged ions, they are held together. molecule: formed by the sharing of electrons.

i had a great class about physics. the teacher catered to my needs as an adult student. He applied physics to everyday experiences, such as sound and musical instruments and etc. I highly recommend him to be your teacher! We spoke Mandarin. But you can ask him about teaching using English.

Declan has prepared me for my Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, and Biology exams. I was getting a C+/B- average for each subject before learning with him and within just over a month am scoring an A average in each subject. His knowledge of Science and Mathematics is astounding and his teaching skills are second to none. Declan is truly the best Science and Mathematics teacher I've come across; you would be foolish to learn with anyone else and I attribute my success to all of his hard work. Thank you so much, I'm so grateful for everything you've done to help me and I can't wait to see you again soon!

Mr. Li is an excellent math and physics teacher. During the trial class, he showed great patience and passion in guiding me step by step through the concepts. I am very grateful that he gave me extra time to answer all of my questions, despite my low level of proficiency in these two subjects. It is wonderful to encounter a teacher who is enthusiastic about teaching, and I greatly appreciate his dedication.

Q4. What's the right learning environment for me? Should I choose a Physics tutor who is a native speaker?

One of the best ways to learn Physics is to immerse yourself in an environment where you try to use only Physics.

However, if you do not currently have a solid base in spelling and/or vocabulary, we recommend you choose a bilingual tutor who speaks your target language and your native language, as you will likely have a better learning experience during your one-on-one private tutoring.

If you have a good range of vocabulary but lack the opportunity to practice, then we recommend you choose a native Physics tutor.

Q6. How much will my online Physics class cost?

All tutoring fees are set by the Physics tutors themselves, and not by AT. Most of our Physics tutors charge USD$10-30 per hour.

You can also get matched with suitable Physics tutors who fit a specific budget. If the tutor’s fees work for you, you can buy a lesson package from them or start with a “trial lesson.”
Q7. How do I pay for my Physics lessons?

You can pay with PayPal or credit card (American Express, Mastercard, or Visa). For certain international markets (e.g. Taiwan), we also accept local methods of payment, such as payment via ATM or convenience store.
Q8. How many Physics lessons should I purchase?

If you have a short term goal, we recommend you purchase enough lessons that you can take classes consistently within your timeframe. If you need significant improvement to reach your goal, we recommend you an adequate number of lessons, and get into the habit of regular weekly learning! The more you put in, the more you get out of it!
