A wonderful lesson with Margo. I got many chances to practice speaking, and she was always there to help whenever I got stuck. She also shared valuable online resources for me to continue learning on my own after class.

The teacher's class quality is as excellent as always. In addition to engaging and interesting picture book stories, the teacher incorporates questions during storytelling to encourage the child to practice speaking. The teacher also guides the child in recognizing sentences and vocabulary from the book and encourages them to read aloud! pretty solid, knows my needs, teaches highly practical concepts and ideas for me to outperform other candidates, native and authentic accent, easy-going. i would say this is def a jovial teacher to chit-chat with.

Judy’s explanations and helpful feedback encourage me to use “sentences “ to describe the situation in work life or daily life. Also she helped to supply more accurate sentences to me through guessing my words of expression. Thanks for Judy’s patience inspire me to be more confident and motivated in learning English.

I hope that next time I can receive feedback on my writing after class and read it on my own. If there are any unclear parts, I will ask teacher in the next lesson to save our valuable class time.

Today's class we discussed about pets and also related to the topic called "responsibility". Teacher tries to open up my mind by asking questions from different perspective. That's awesome.

Reggie & I have resumed the US visa Interview session since mid-February, including beginning the UK's GradSchool interview, both scheduled for the upcoming first week of March. I struggled with a few points of questions; nevertheless, his critical thinking & experience during the interview session supported my lack of explanation, making it concise & straightforward. Hopefully, I can get more feedback for the remaining sessions.

To improve my writing skills, I bring articles to class, and Shelley helps me review the grammar, content, and readability. During today’s lesson, I found that I need more practice with verb tenses and prepositions to make my essays more precise. With regular practice and Shelley’s guidance, I am confident that my writing skills will improve over time. I plan to review her materials carefully and apply her feedback to my future essays.

Teacher Silas can help me understand the reason why I have to choose this option when we were doing GRE questions, though, it is harder than TOEFL, he continues to encourage me. I was feeling overwhelmed during the session because there were times I didn't fully grasp the idea of what he is explaining due to English is not my native language and my level of English is intermediate to upper level but still lacks of logic reasoning in English. I really hope teacher Silas can help me conquer it and pass this barrier to level up my English to upper level and advanced.

The lession about animal was completed this morning. We then moved on to another interesting one, From Pitch to Profit. We just started this topic for 10 minutes today, and I am looking forward to learning more about it. Thank you, Jeffrey. Have a great week.

During the conversation throughout the lesson, I realised a few key issues I tend to focus on when speaking: 1. Speaking and writing have different levels of difficulty. I understand grammar, so when writing in English, I can double-check my work and avoid basic or low-level mistakes. However, when speaking, I have to construct sentences in real-time, which often leads to errors, repetition, or poor organisation. Sometimes, I struggle to find the right words quickly. 2. I sometimes make mistakes when speaking that I could easily avoid in writing. I also haven’t been able to break the habit of mentally translating from Chinese to English, which makes my speech sound unnatural and less fluent. 3. I find it difficult to switch between Chinese and English units of measurement, which makes it hard to clearly express concepts. This also affects my ability to present business data accurately.

This is a trial lesson . Miss Nicole is very energetic and my son loves the lesson a lot. He is a bit shy in the beginning but he is able to talk more after a few conversations. After the trial class, he is excited to have an other one immediately

I was very impressed by the teacher's trial class. It is very rare to find a good teacher. She is an expert in phonetics and linguistics, and can find pronunciation errors and sentence errors in time. She has rich teaching experience and is trustworthy. The teaching plan she developed for my needs is very feasible. I bought the course immediately on the day of the trial class.
