Neko-sensei previously spent 5 years studying and working in Japan, specializing in manga, interior design, and graphic design. After returning to their home country, they successfully navigated the workplace for 13 years solely relying on their Japanese language skills. Since founding Neko Studio, over a hundred students have graduated from the JLPT N5 course and pursued further studies or employment opportunities in Japan. A few students have also completed the JLPT N2 course here and received excellent opportunities.
Classes are conducted in a relaxed and enjoyable manner, far from the rigid confines of traditional textbooks. This approach allows students to progress from the basics of Japanese to practical everyday language and even delve into topics of personal interest and entertainment. And, of course, if your ultimate goal is university or employment, relevant guidance and advice will be provided to the best of our abilities.
Basic: Japanese language fundamentals, hiragana, katakana, categorization of kanji, greetings, and simple questioning. Suitable for anyone interested in learning Japanese.
Beginner: Basic Japanese forms, particles, nouns, verbs, adjectives, counters. Targeting JLPT N5 proficiency.
Intermediate: Advanced Japanese forms, grammar; speaking, listening, reading, writing basics. Targeting JLPT N4 proficiency.
Intermediate Plus: Practical everyday Japanese usage. Full comprehension and communication in daily situations. Targeting JLPT N3 proficiency.
Advanced: Professional Japanese usage. Instant understanding of clients' or superiors' needs, delivering correct and polite responses. Targeting JLPT N2 proficiency.
The Master: Even more Japanese than the Japanese. Seriously, the JLPT N1 level that some Japanese people might not even pass – if you complete it, you'll truly be on par with native Japanese speakers.

For the Avid Otaku: From gaming, manga, and anime to collecting card games, and even tabletop games like Mahjong, there's no shortage of interests.
For the Outdoors Enthusiast: NEKO-sensei has completed a marathon of 42 kilometers and has a passion for outdoor activities such as swimming, skiing, and surfing.
For the Mystical Minds: Knowledge extends to Chinese astrology (Zi Wei Dou Shu), numerology, and even understanding personality traits through zodiac signs and blood types. Just share your birthdate, and NEKO-sensei can analyze your personality!
