Hello everyone, I'm a dance composer and teacher with a dance background.
For me, dance isn't about making movements look beautiful,
but about learning how to feel your place in space and time. 🧘♀️🕓🎶
I've long worked in dance creation, dance teaching, writing instruction, and interdisciplinary creative work, focusing on how the body perceives its environment, responds to space, and the inner states experienced by people in movement, stillness, and transition.
I believe everyone has a body, and through dance, can gain a clearer understanding of themselves.
Dance is not just performance,
but a way to return to the body, to the present moment.
My dance classes do not aim to memorize movements,
but rather, through guidance and practice, to help you build your ability to observe and perceive your body.
Course content includes:
Body and breath awareness
The relationship between the body and space/rhythm
Movement generation and improvisation exploration
Finding your own way of moving, starting from your feelings
Because of my long-term experience in creation and teaching,
I am particularly good at observing where students' bodies are stuck, and providing specific, actionable adjustments, rather than telling you to "try harder" or "do it more like"
This course is suitable for:
