🎶Rekindling the Melodies: How I Learnt Piano Again After 10 Years 🎹重燃音樂夢：10年後再啟鋼琴之旅

I took piano lessons for a few years when I was a kid. But then busy study and work life got in the way. I had stopped learning the piano for over 10 years. During the pandemic, I came across an advertisement of AmazingTalker, I was so amazed that piano could be learnt via zoom! Right after the trial lesson, I decided to restart my music journey after a decade with the help of Ms. Tina.

Ms. Tina is a professional and experienced teacher from Taiwan. She majored in Music and finished her postgraduate study in Music Education. She also had a lot of experiences in performing on stage. With her encouragement, I explored a wider genre of music, including Jazz and Debussy’s impressionist music, which I had never tried playing before. She also suggested suitable exercises and training methods for me to enhance my basic skills. Thanks for her patience indeed. 💕

Now I have learnt the piano with Ms Tina for over 1 year. Were there any difficulties in the process? Of course, but they were solved one by one. 😌

Problem 1: Too noisy for me to practise the piano after work. 💥
I bought a small electric piano to practise after 9/10p.m. It was actually kind of relaxing to play some music before sleeping too.

Problem 2: No time for class at weekends 🤦‍♀️
This was solved through the platform of AmazingTalker because it clearly shows my teacher' schedule so I could do booking and reschedule the timeslots according to my needs with ease.

Problem 3: Worry about failing in catching up 😥
My worries were eased because of the great help of Ms Tina. She tailor-made my lessons according to my interests and personal progress. I can thus learn at my own pace.

In addition, there is no need to take all the heavy books to class. All I have to do is just switch on Zoom at home one minute before the lesson! Really no more excuses for me not to insist on learning this time! 😎

What’s more, Ms Tina always encourages us to perform and share our music with the others. Even though we are learning online, she still tries her best to create a platform for us to perform.👯‍♀️

As an adult learner, learning the piano again is not about becoming a pianist one day, but about enjoying the fun of playing music and acquiring the skills to achieve greater freedom in playing whatever music I like. 我小時候學過幾年鋼琴，但隨後因學習和工作生活忙碌而停止學琴超過10年。在疫情期間，我無意中看到AmazingTalker的廣告，我很驚訝現在竟然能在Zoom上學鋼琴。試堂後，我馬上決定跟隨Ms.Tina學習，在她的陪伴幫助下我重新開始了學習音樂的旅程。

Ms.Tina來自台灣，是位很專業且經驗豐富的音樂教師。她大學時主修音樂，並完成了音樂教育的碩士課程，公開表演的經驗亦十分豐富。她鼓勵我學習不同的音樂風格，例如爵士樂和德彪西的印象派音樂，這些都是我以前從未接觸過的曲風。她還建議合適我程度的練習曲及教授各種練習方法，以增強我的基本技巧。真的很感謝她的耐心指導!💕

轉眼間我已在AmazingTalker 跟隨Ms. Tina學習鋼琴一年多了。你可能會問我，這過程中是否曾遇有困難呢？當然有，但都已被逐一解決了。😌
問題1：晚上下班後才練琴會吵到家人和鄰居💥
解決方案：我買了一台小電子琴，方便我在晚上9或10點後戴上耳機練習。睡覺前彈彈琴還讓人身心放鬆呢!

問題2：周末需上班未能上課🤦‍♀️
解決方案：AmazingTalker平台展示了老師一周的上課時間，我可以輕鬆預約配合自己上班時間的時段。有需要時也可向老師申請另行安排時間，十分方便。

問題3：擔心跟不上進度😥
解決方案：Ms.Tina根據我的興趣和個人進度量身定制我的課程內容，令我可以放心按自己的進度學習。
而且只需在課前一分鐘打開Zoom就可上課，我再也不需要上課時背上厚厚的書籍了！實在想不出其他藉口放棄學習了！😎
