Another fun class with Ariane. Always adapting to our conversations and as well to my interests and hobbies. She really is such a natural when it comes to teaching too, and it makes me feel excited to keep learning from her.

Mathilde is genuinely interested in her student’s well being, not only academically, but also their emotions and physical conditions during class. Very observant of my child’s behavior and learning style. She would make timely decisions and changes to her teaching style and plans to fit her student’s needs. Great qualities in a teacher.

It was a great lesson! Dr. Mathilde reviewed the phonetics and vocabulary learnt in previous lessons with me, and explained when to use reflexive pronouns in detail. She also did some exercises with me to strengthen my understanding of the use of reflexive pronouns. Lastly, Dr. Mathilde also taught me some new useful verbs.

Thank you very much for encouraging me to do the research on the pléiade. By reading different websites and watching various videos, and then prepare an presentation, i learn so much. And thank you for explaining the meaning of the terms to me. Also, reading the poesies from three different poets makes me realise the beauty of the french language even more. This is my first lesson with Alex and I really enjoyed it. I liked that he prepared a lot of teaching materials, and was very organized in the lesson. The reason I chose Alex to be my French teacher is because he understands the struggles of learning a foreign language. Alex is super nice and patient. I will definitely join his lesson again.

I was starting from zero in French and was lucky enough to meet Su Li when I started using Amazing Talker. Su Li is a patient teacher who also uses a microphone when teaching. She gives me customized homework and materials every lesson. After four months of classes with Su Li twice a week, I will take my A1 exam.

Bruce tried many different questions and topics in our first class to understand my level of French. He is very encouraging and can give me a lot of advice. I have attended two classes and revisited a lot of grammar and vocabulary already. I am also given opportunities to speak in French and ask questions. The class is fun and pressure-free.

I enjoy the classes with Alexandre and I’ve been taking his classes, twice a week, for 2 years by now. At first I started to pick him, among hundreds of professors on Amazing Talker out of a random move; yet my passion for French learning grows as I take his classes regularly: I got to learn the essence in speaking, listening, grammar and reading; as well as some cultural and social deep- diving into the francophone world! I remember that my joy and confidence peaked when I found myself talking with my French colleagues fluently and they comprehended what I uttered with admiration on my “gift” on their language and I said proudly, “No, I’m not even gifted but my luck is there to have a good professor :) “ 2 months ago, I went on a business trip to Switzerland and I was left alone for a day for some leisure time in Luzern and I enjoyed using my French to communicate with the locals, to buy tonnes of chocolate and get around the city!
