My Thai Journey with Kru Prae

My Thai language journey began after reminiscing with my best friend about her travels around the world. While she was captivated by Thailand’s beauty, I realized how little I knew about the country, its language, and its culture. Since my friend was too impatient to teach me herself, I decided to find a professional language teacher.

In my search, I discovered Amazing Talker and was fortunate that kru Prae was among the first to reach out. Starting my Thai journey with her was a joy. Her patience and gentle guidance made learning Thai an enriching experience, and she corrected my many mistakes with calmness and kindness.

As I progressed, kru Prae and I delved into Thai culture and etiquette, understanding that cultural context is key to mastering the language. Although I initially found some topics challenging, kru Prae’s support helped me navigate them.

As the language became more complex, I sought Thai study buddies and engaged with friends who spoke Thai. This created a supportive learning environment where kru Prae’s guidance was invaluable. My learning journey felt like a quest, with kru Prae leading the way and my study buddies and I tackling challenges together.

Kru Prae also encouraged me to create drawings with characters based on real people to aid in writing sentences and learning new vocabulary. Her creative suggestions, combined with my own ideas, made the learning process enjoyable and effective.

Our time together lasted over two and a half years, filled with fun and friendship. Though we parted ways due to kru Prae’s evolving interests, we remain good friends to this day.

Now, I am with another teacher who guides me on my Thai journey. While building the same rapport with her will take time, I am grateful for kru Prae’s impact on my learning.

I wish kru Prae all the best in her future endeavors. I will always cherish our time together and I am proud to count her as a friend.
